Analytical evaluation of indicators of instrumental reliability of one-parameter control of the technical condition of the object

A procedure is proposed for analytical calculation of indicators of instrumental reliability of single-parameter monitoring of the technical condition of an object, taking into account the normal distribution law of the monitored parameter and the error of its measurement. To solve the problem, first the unconditional reliability indicators are assessed, and then the conditional probabilities of correct and erroneous decisions made based on the control results. A numerical example of the procedure is given for analytical calculation of indicators of instrumental reliability of single-parameter monitoring of the technical condition of an object.
