Simulation of variadle parametres of arc furnace modes

Approaches to modeling arc steel furnaces are considered. As a result of the analysis of various approaches, a model with variable parameters R and X_L was selected, which allows considering an arc furnace as a variable load with a corresponding effect on the supply networks. The resulting model is intended for inclusion in the general model of the furnace power supply system with a static var compensator and has practical application for setting up the control system of the compensating device.
