Analysis of professional suitability and assessment of costs for adaptation to professional requirements

The problem of providing information and methodological support to applicants and their employers in determining the trajectory of professional development is considered. The purpose of the study is to develop and analyze options for applying a multidimensional model of specialist characteristics, reflecting both the requirements of the chosen profession and the compliance of a particular applicant with these requirements. A system for typing applicants according to the level of their current and future compliance with the chosen profession is proposed. A brief review of the possible types of applicants and their distinctive features is made. The problem of quantifying the costs necessary to adapt the applicant to the requirements of the chosen profession is analyzed and a model is proposed for predicting the prospects for the development of the applicant's characteristics in the direction of meeting the requirements of the profession in question. It is shown how to use the solution of the task of quantifying the costs of adaptation to select the best applicant from a certain set of them. The results obtained can be used as decision support tools in the field of human capital management, as well as serve as a methodological and mathematical basis for the information support system for building a professional trajectory, which ensures the automation of the professional selection process and the efficient use of human resources.
