OBTAINING OF SHORT PULSES IN THE OUTPUT OF A RADIATION-RECEPTION SYSTEM OWING TO THE USE OF COMPENSATING PULSES IN BOTH RADIATING AND RECEIVING OPERATING MODES

A radiation-reception system consisting of two identical piezoelectric plates loaded, each, on one side with water, is considered. The radiator is excited by one half-period of sinusoidal electric voltage at the resonant frequence. It’s shown that using of compensating electric pulses for both piezoplates allows to obtain short pulses in the output of a system. The examples of obtaining pulses with duration in the range of 2–5 half-period are given.
