TECHNICAL AND INFORMATION SUPPORT OF THE OPTIMAL COMPOSITE STRUCTURES FABRICATION

Reviews the current state of the fiber-reinforced composite structures manufacturing technologies such as tape layup and fiber placement. Relevance of finding new methods for optimal and effective structures engineering is justified. An approach for handling such structures on the pre-manufacturing and manufacturing stages is proposed, with potential technical and informational problems highlighted.
