RESEARCH OF VOLT-AMPERE CHARACTERISTICS OF GLOW DISCHARGE LASERS
Volt-ampere characteristics of a glow discharge in narrow extended tubes, characteristic for gas-discharge lasers are investigated. The approximating expressions for the falling volt-ampere characteristics in the form of the power function including digit current, extent of a digit interval and the longitudinal gradient of potential of a positive column counted in the automated mode are received. The approximating functions allowing calculation of volt-ampere characteristics for the set total pressure of active gas mix are found. Good agreement of calculated and extensive experimental results is reached.
