WAVE PROCESSES AT THE STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT IN TWO MODELS: ABSORBING AND FINE-LAYERED MEDIA

The questions of how to calculate the values of the measured velocities, some parameters of the medium, if you know its model are considered. Two such models are described: the absorbing medium and fine-layered model of the medium. Calculations effectively elastic environment settings for fine-layered model of the medium, which were substituted into the equation for finding effective Rayleigh wave propagation velocity in the fine-layered medium steel-graphite were carried out. The calculations for the three combinations of layer thicknesses: 0.9/0.1, 0.5/0.5, 0.1/0.9 mm were performed.
