DESIGN FEATURES OF ANTENNA SYSTEMS OF AUTOMOTIVE RADARS WITH ELECTRONIC SCANNING OPERATING IN HARD CLIMATE CONDITIONS

Methods of ensuring the thermal regime of transceivers of automobile radars in hot climates and methods of increasing the energy potential of an automobile radar for work in places with an increased level of absorption on the path of radio wave propagation from the radar to the reflecting object and vice versa are considered. Such absorption can be caused by fog, snow, airborne dust, sand or soil. The substantiation of the choice of a certain type of power transmission lines from transceivers to antennas, which simultaneously provides effective cooling of heating elements of the structure and energy transfer with minimal losses, has been carried out. The selected line type allows providing the necessary heat removal with a minimum level of technological complexity. The efficiency of the developed antennas is shown, the results of computer simulation are presented. The results obtained make it possible to increase the reliability of operation and the quality of object detection using vehicle radars in various climatic conditions, as well as to extend their service life.
