MODELING OF FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS OF HIGH-VOLTAGE DIVIDERS USED AS PART OF EQUIPMENT FOR MONITORING THE PARAMETERS OF ELECTROVACUUM DEVICES

At the testing and training stages of high-power electrovacuum devices, it is necessary to monitor high voltages with sufficiently high accuracy. It is most appropriate to use kilovoltmeters with a digital output that have a high-voltage divider and an electronic device that processes the received analog signal to solve this problem. It can be noted that the development of a high-voltage divider for a wide range of input signal voltages and frequencies is quite a difficult task due to a number of factors that negatively affect the characteristics of the divider. The most suitable for use in the conditions under consideration are compensated voltage dividers constructed using a combination of high-voltage resistors and capacitors. To clarify the frequency characteristics of the developed high-voltage dividers, modeling was performed using the OrCAD automatic design package. The compensated voltage divider introduces fairly small distortions to the pulse shape when converting a high input voltage to a low output voltage.
