USING SVM TO STUDY DYNAMICS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE PROFITABILITY OF AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS

Different ways of using the support vector machine in solving problems of agricultural production are considered, the task is to search for factors that influenced the profitability/loss ratio of agricultural organizations in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and to determine their dynamics. Among the considered factors included indicators characterizing the size of the organization, the amount of economic resources in it, the composition of the products produced. Using the recursive extraction procedure, the 5 most influencing factors on the fact of making a profit in each year from the period 2007–2017 were selected. Further, for each year, a number of models were built using the method of support factors (with different kernels and parameters), the best one was selected, and its accuracy was assessed. In conclusion, the rating of the considered factors was built according to the importance of their influence on the profitability/loss-making of the organization, the dynamics of these factors was assessed.
