MULTIFUNCTIONAL HIGH-VACUUM PLANT FOR CRYOVACUUM SYSTEMS IN AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS
Long-term tests as part of the spacecraft are necessary during ground tests of cryovacuum systems of onboard equipment. Article presents design of multifunctional high-vacuum plant, including turbomolecular, cryoadsorbtion and ion pumps, which was created for ground test of onboard equipment for space application. The main characteristics of multifunctional high-vacuum plant assembly, vacuum and electrical circuit are presented in this article. The requirements for high-vacuum plants, used in ground tests of onboard space equipment, which are necessary to provide uninterrupted test cycle of spacecraft, are given in article. Presented test results, vacuum chamber pumping curve and the mass spectrum of gases inside the vacuum pipe. Advantages of using multifunctional high-vacuum plant in comparison with using vacuum plants only with turbomolecular and scroll vacuum pumps are shown.
