SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES FOR DETERMINING ACCELERATION, ALTITUDE, BODY DIRECTION AND TEMPERATURE OVERBOARD

The article will consider the composition of the IMU (Inertial measuring modules, a very widely demanded device, which, despite its small size, is able to determine important for navigation and other data to determine a larger device, which in-cludes an IMU, places in space relative the selected coordinate system), the principle of its operation on the example of a classical kinematic inertial sensor, the advantages of a semiconductor and capacitive sensor over a kinematic sensor, the principle of operation of a semiconductor sensor, as well as a comparative characteristic of three inertial sensors of one company, some of their characteristics are considered that will help to draw a conclusion about the appropriateness com-bining these devices into one functional block (to combine all their strengths and eliminate certain disadvantages).
