EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF DISK BIMORPH PIEZOELECTRIC ENERGY HARVESTER

The results of experimental study of a disk bimorph piezoelectric energy harvester are presented. The device contains two piezoceramic PZT-19 plates and an additional brass ring mass. Frequency response of vibrational displacement along the radii of the plate and the ring mass and the output voltage frequency response are presented. The idle mode and the load duty are investigated. The value of the internal resistance is obtained using the load characteristic. Piezoelectric specific power is estimated.
