SENSE OF SMELL AS AN OBJECT OF THE INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

This is an observation on the multiple scientific approaches to the phenomenon of the sense of smell. Attention is paid to the object areas of both the natural sciences and the humanities. In the article the main features of the olfactory process are outlined. The emphasis is put on the role of linguistics in research of the mechanism of Verbal.
