COMPUTATION OF CONTROL LIMITS OF BASED ON PSEUDORANDOM NUMBERS GENERATION

This article is proposing a new approach to evaluation of control limits of chart when initially only a general distribution function of individual values of a characteristic of a stable process is known (parameters of a model are unknown). The switch from the distribution of individual values to the distribution of means by pseudorandom numbers generation and its further transformation determine the novelty of the approach. The quantiles of the transformed sample are being used as estimators of control limits, which are being applied to identify the state (stable or instable) of the process.
