SELECTION OF SENSOR FOR FAST RESPONSE, HIGH SENSITIVE MEDICAL THERMOMETER

The necessity of using fast response thermometers with high resolution in the field of biomedical engineering has proved. Provided an overview of modern commercial and integrated electronic medical thermometers. It is shown that discussed thermometers do not provide the necessary parameters for recording the temperature in the range about 20…40 °C. The reasons of such restrictions in serial devices are analyzed. A new approach to construction of semiconductor thermometers based on silicon chip diodes, operated by stabilized forward voltage providing fast response and resolution is proposed.
