MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING IN THE DIAGNOSTICS OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

This article reviews the role of magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnostics of multiple sclerosis. Relevance of the problem and ability of various methods are formulated. Standard and nonconventional methods of magnetic resonance imaging are presented. Also MRI diagnostic criteria of multiple sclerosis are described.
