The use of polar codes to build a stable sonar OFDM communication system in shallow seas
A new method for constructing polar codes for a multiplexed signal with orthogonal frequency subcarriers is proposed, which makes it possible to reduce the bit error rate in a shallow acoustic channel. A model of a shallow sea hydroacoustic channel based on the t-distribution is constructed. A simulation of the developed method for constructing polar codes under t-distributed noise conditions has been performed in MatLab R2024a, which makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed changes. Simulation modeling was carried out, which made it possible to verify the behavior of the developed method for calculating the polarization weight depending on the signal-to-noise level.
