Adaptive control algorithm for a synchronous electric drive

Considers the principles of modeling a synchronous electric motor with excitation from permanent magnets in the nominal speed range and in the field weakening zone. To improve the robustness of the control system, an adaptive control law based on the reference model is introduced into the speed loop. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, a comparison is made with classical control approaches under parametric and external disturbances. The article also presents the results of a study of the influence of the Stribeck effect on the operation of an electric motor in a system using an adaptive control algorithm.
