Using Fast Fourier Transform to Analyze Signals of the Sapsan Electric Train

Objective. To consider the need to improve the detection of signs of defects in the Sapsan electric train at an early stage. To develop and improve methods of test and functional diagnostics of trains. To propose methods of digital signal processing. Develop a correct interpretation of the signal processing results. Methods. The digital signal processing method is applied: Fourier transforms. The possibility of its successful application for signal processing is shown. The need to improve the parameters of this technique is indicated. Results. The successful application of the digital signal processing method: Fourier transforms – for the analysis of stationary signals is shown. Practical. The Fourier transform successfully allows us to detect a change in the nature of the oscillations. The Fourier transform method is easy to use. Today, the most common method of digital signal processing is the Fourier transform method due to its technical simplicity and a longer period of technical use. This article should confirm the success of the technical application of the Fourier transform and its variant Fast Fourier transform.
