Research and optimization of emergency operation modes of transistors

The article deals with the study of emergency modes of operation of transistors of converting devices, as well as the development of recommendations for the construction of protection systems. To achieve this goal, in the LTSpice circuit simulation environment, two cases of short circuit occurrence were investigated, differing, respectively, in the peculiarities of current flow and the degree of current load of the power transistor. In the second half of the article, a number of circuit solutions are proposed, aimed at limiting the limiting operating modes of power transistor crystals, which guarantees not only safety, but also the durability of the manufactured products.
