MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE INTERACTION COUPLED MICROSTRIPS RESONATORS

Describes a mathematical model of the interaction two coupled counter-directed quarter-wave microstrip resonators. The mathematical model is based on the search of frequency-depended coupling coefficient of interacting resonators. The merit of the mathematical model is possible to obtain an estimate of the transmission coefficient for changed topology of resonators of the interdigital filter, which cannot be obtained by circuit simulation in common software tools. The estimate of the transmission coefficient in order to determine the initial approximation of the geometric dimensions of the topology is need because the next stage after of the initial approximation is electrodynamic modeling, which consumes large computer power and time of analyzing the topology. Without the initial approximation of the geometrical dimension of the topology, one can «wander» for a long time in search of the optimum using only electrodynamic modeling.
