METHODS OF INDIVIDUAL EVALUATION OF THE RESIDUAL LEVEL OF TRAINING IN THE DISCIPLINES OF THE PROFESSIONAL CYCLE IN THE PREPARATION OF ENGINEERING PERSONNEL

The methods of individual evaluation of the residual level of training in the disciplines of the professional cycle in the preparation of engineering personnel are suggested. The preparation of engineering personnel is aimed at the formation of students a certain set of knowledge and skills while studying separate disciplines or cycle of disciplines. The final stage of the discipline is the intermediate certification, during which the level of formation of competencies of the discipline is checked. One of the problematic issues that arise during the educational process is the reduction of the training level in connection with the process of natural forgetting of the information received by the student. The proposed method is based on the mathematical apparatus, which allows to calculate the values of the level of training at a given time on the basis of the results of the intermediate certification, depending on the length of the time interval elapsed from the moment of its implementation. The results of methods approbation on the basis of the received experimental data are given. The results of individual evaluation of residual knowledge correlate with theoretical calculations. The proposed method allows to determine the residual level of knowledge and skills of students at any time throughout the training period.
