ABOUT REINFORCEMENT OF WIDEBAND ROD TRANSDUCERS WITH AMPLITUDE-PHASED EXCITATION OF SECTIONS

The method of reinforcement of wideband rod transducers, including those with amplitude-phase excitation, which eliminates the negative impact of the reinforcing tightening on their frequency characteristics of such transducers is considered. The rod transducer is reinforced by a single tightening, individual sections of which are attached to the piezoelectric rod with inserts (ring jumpers). The results of calculations of amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics for the model of the transducer, the piezoelectric rod of which consists of two parts excited by different amplitude and phase electric voltages, using additional inserts and without them. A comparative assessment of the flexibility of the ring jumper, as well as its dimensions, for different materials from which it is made, and for different sizes of the piezoelectric rod of transducer is given. The results of experimental studies confirming the main provisions of the calculations and estimates are presented.
