INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN IDENTIFICATION OF TOOTH HARD TISSUE STRUCTURE UPON SYSTEMIC PRESENTATION: METHODS AND RESULTS

Relying on the designed versions of physics-mathematical model (PMM) of the hard tooth tissues (HTT), which establish a mathematically functional link of PMM with parameters characterizing the structure of the dentine tubules distribution and with the shape of the tooth under investigation by means of electrical exploring signal, the task of HTT identification is solved by experimental data. The PMM identification is based on iteration algorithms minimizing the error (discrepancy) in divergence of numerical value of target parameters, which determine the synthesized PMM and is measured by the results of performed experiment. The parameters measured during the experiment are the values of active resistances in the discrete points of the slice being determined by the results of line or other kind of scanning of the tooth slice surfaces. By experimental data received on the base of in Vitro electrical exploring signal the identification results are presented, which demonstrate the adequacy of the synthesized PMM and the corresponding possibility to indirect measure of essential parameters like location of the tooth resistance center and the axis of its orientation.
