SYSTEM OF PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AT THE DEPARTMENT

The computer-aided system developed at the Department of Computer Engineering is described, which provides support for the teaching and organizational and methodological activity of the department. It is the first of the three planned subsystems of the computer-aided system, which is being developed at the Department of Computer Engineering. The subsystem allows to simplify the work with documents to the head of the department and his deputy on educational work, as well as to teachers and students, to reduce the time and improve the quality of decision-making related to the management of the educational process. Despite the fact that the system was developed for the Department of Computer Engineering, it can serve as a basis for creating similar systems for other departments of the university. The system is implemented as a web application based on the Content Management System (CMS) Drupal, the database management system (DBMS) MariaDB is used for data storage. The following roles are used to ensure the delineation of user access rights to the system: database administrator, deputy head of the department for educational work, teacher and student.
