MODELS OF AC-DC IGBT-CONVERTERS WITH 3-, 5- AND 7-PHASE-THREE-PHASE TRANSFORERS

Static AC-DC converters based on IGBT voltage source inverters (VSI), PWM DC-DC voltage converters and transformers were considered. Description of AC/DC-C model complex was given. Mathematical description of a multi-phase – three-phase rotating-field transformer (RFT), including a 5- or 7-phase primary winding and a 3-phase secondary winding, is presented. The AC/DC-C model with DC/DC-C-, VSI-, RFT- and LCL-filter is described based on the methodology of system calculation by interconnected subsystems. In modeling virtual controlled AC sources that allowed to separate the system on the interconnected subsystems and to simplify the mathematical description of the plant, to provide stability of calculation processes, are used. Calculation results of electromagnetic processes in AC/DC-C are presented that proved adequacy of modeling methods and developed models.
