CONSTRUCTIVE ERRORS OF THE TEST BENCH AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE CALIBRATION OF THE MICROMECHANICAL ACCELEROMETER

The coordinate systems in which the acceleration is measured are considered. Acceleration is projected on the axis of the coordinate system associated with the accelerometer to build a model of the test bench. The design errors affecting the projections of accelerations of the tested object are described and introduced into the model of the stand. The model of the stand is tested in different calibration techniques and allows its application in the experiment. As test method the chosen method for the dynamic calibration because of the convenience of its application at work. The measurement results are passed through the Kalman filter to obtain an estimate of the errors under consideration. Taking into account the errors of the test bench will make it possible to obtain readings closest to the real values, thereby increasing the accuracy of the calibrated parameters of the accelerometer. This will also allow the use of less accurate equipment during the calibration process, which will reduce the cost of this operation.
