POSSIBILITIES OF ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING WITH UAV USE IN RUSSIA

Unmanned civil aircraft (UAV) in Russia are increasingly used in practice in many industries and construction. However, their application to solve environmental problems is limited by a relatively high cost of operation and is most often associated with emergencies (forest fires, floods, pollution of territories with oil products, etc.). Meanwhile, UAVs are indispensable for monitoring the environmental situation in the country. It is possible to use the data obtained with the help of UAV in the performance of other tasks to assess the ecological situation: control of the state of high-voltage power transmission, topographic surveying, construction of automobile and railway highways, etc. At present, these data are often not even preserved.
