EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF REDUCING THE DURATION OF THE TRANSIENT PROCESS IN THE RADIATION-RECEIVING SYSTEM

The pulse mode of the system of two similar piezoceramic disk transducers was studied. The immersion media was glycerin. The radiator was excited by the complex waveform signal. It was found experimentally that the complex signal excitation reduces essentially the duration of the electric pulse output of the receiver in compari-son with the case of excitation by the single sine half-period at the antiresonance frequency. It was shown that the experimental results rather well correspond to the theoretical results.
