ORGANIZATION OF ETI-LETI SCIENTIFIC SCHOOLS AND DIRECTIONS OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT IN THE PERIOD FROM 1891 TO 1941 (part 1)
The article considers formation of national scientific, scientific – educational schools in the field of electrical engineering in SPb ETU «LETI» during the first fifty years of development of the oldest electrotechnical university in Russia. It shows succession and regularity in creation of new scientific trends under conditions of scientific and industrial growth both in Russia and in the world. The article also provides brief information on the founders of scientific schools and their contribution made into the progress of a definite scientific direction.
