ON APPLICABILITY OF D’ALEMBERT METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF A PULSED ACOUSTIC SIGNAL AT THE OUTPUT OF A PIEZOELECTRIC RADIATOR

Pulsed mode of a piezoelectric plate loaded on one side with a damper and on the other side with water medium is considered. An exciting electric pulse is a half-period of sine at the antiresonant frequency of the plate. Determination of the signal shape at the output of the transducer is performed by two methods: a spectral one based on Fourier transform, and D’Alembert method used in the common approach, i. e. not taking into account the direct piezoelectric effect. The problem was solved with use of algorithm developed by the authors in the preceding publications, that allowed to determine mutual coupling between resonant and antiresonant frequencies of the transducer.
