OPTIMIZATION OF TURBOGENERATOR CROSS-SECTION GEOMETRY

Composed and analyzed are mathematical models for determination of the turbogenerator stator core slot cross-section and the turbogenerator capacity, with the aid of which the optimum magnetic induction in the air gap and the relative diameter of the stator bore ensuring the best use of the machine active materials with respect to the electromagnetic torque are determined. The results of calculation according to the models composed are compared with the corresponding parameters of the existing turbogenerators.
