PLACEMENT FANOUTS IN THE FIELD OF BGA WITH IRREGULAR ARRANGEMENT OF CONTACTS

The problems of the vias (fanouts) placement in the BGA area are discussed. It is proposed an algorithm of search via position for each pad, based on placement the maximum number of vias in areas free from contacts, solving the problem of appointments and removal of redundant passages. The algorithm is implemented in a CAD TopoR and yields better results than using similar procedures in other CAD systems.
