FLUX OF ⁷BE FROM THE STRATOSPHERE

Measurements of ⁷Be in the ground-level air over Leningrad region during 4–12 of January 2016 are reported. They showed a rapid grow in 7Be concentration up to 1.02 × 10^–1 Bq/m ³ due to a vigorous jet stream. The actual radiosonde data with altitude coverage of 32 km as well as the comparison between ⁷Be concentrations and gross beta activity suggest that tropopause there was broken, so air from the stratosphere went down to the troposphere.
