A MODEL OF A SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE WITH A TRANSISTOR EXCITER FOR ANALYSIS OF NORMAL OPERATIONS, EXTERNAL AND TURN-TO-TURN FAULTS

A model of a synchronous machine with a transistor self-excitation system has been developed. The model is de-signed to analyze steady, transition, and emergency operations, including turn-to-turn faults. The faulted stator winding turns are presented by a separate loop. To minimize time losses for calculations, the methodology of simulation of systems by interrelated subsystems has been used. Normal and emergency operations of the sys-tem have been analyzed.
