THE USE OF IMAGE ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES FOR DETECTING THE PRESENCE OF CARGO RAILCAR

A sequence of video streams analysis methods for the isolation of the carriages of the train, determine their type and the presence in them of the cargo. The proposed approach is based on the use of motion detection, algo-rithm Lucas-Canade, the histogram of oriented gradients and building image depth map.
