THE NATIONAL POLICY OF THE SOVIET UNION DURING THE YEARS OF PERESTROIKA
Discusses how to develop new approaches in national policies in a worsening national relations in the USSR period of perestroika. Highlights the main stages in the course of M.S. Gorbachev national relations and the basic steps of the Union leadership for the development and implementation of national policies. An attempt is made to analyse the main reasons for the failure of national policies of Gorbachev and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
