THE CLUSTERS AS THE INSTRUMENT OF INNOVATION ACTIVITY: THE EXPERIENCE OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND THE RUSSIAN PRACTICE

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of technological clusters in the development of innovation sphere, the features of cluster policy in the foreign countries and the possibility of adaptation of this experience to Russia. These issues are considered through the creation of national innovation systems and modernization of the economy. The author pays special attention to the correlation of the innovation clusters and foreign direct investments.
