TESTING OF THE MULTILAYER CERAMIC CAPACITORS BY MEANS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC-ACOUSTIC TRANSDUCERS

Reliability is one of the main characteristics of the MLCC quality. All the modern developed methods of capacitor nondestructive testing, had one disadvantage: impossibility of fast and reliable testing strait into the production line. The following article describes new methodic of MLCC testing by means of electromagnetic-acoustic transducers. Described method base on the cooperation of the resonance properties of the defective and non-defective capacitors. By using introduced methodic it is able to provide on-line fast speed testing of produced components.
