ON THE OPTIMIZATION OF SPATIO-TEMPORAL DATA MINING IN ECOLOGICAL MONITORING GEOINFORMATION SYSTEMS

Meteorological, hydrological and ecological data representation in geoinformation systems is considered. It is shown that due to the recently obtained universal statistical laws in several climatic and ecological indicators, optimization of spatio-temporal data representation using combined mathematical models including regular seasonal trends as well as fluctuations around them is possible. An additional advantage of the proposed approach is its enhanced robustness under data incompleteness conditions.
