The development of multi-level matrix frequency converters is performed. System modeling methodology for interconnected subsystems is used, this decision allows to reduce the expenses for computer calculations time. Models are forseen settings of system configurations from low-voltage devices, which contain one converter bridge, to high-voltage devices, which contain serially connected converter bridges. The algorithm of matrix converters control is suggested, the results of electromagnetic processes calculations and features of matrix converters are adduced.
